About Us

SLSC is an enthusiastic club with members from 7 to over 60 years old proving that anybody can take part in our activities.

We currently have 4 Instructors of which two are RLSS Trainer Assessors, one is an RLSS Assistant Teacher and one is a qualified Swimming Instructor. The club are also lucky enough to have several seasonal assistant instructors. All of our Instructors and Assistant Instructors have been CRB checked by the Police and have obtained clean certificates.

We follow the school terms each year at Oaklands Community School Pool, Southampton, and meet from 7.15pm until 8.45pm on Monday evenings . Over the course of your training you will not only learn lifesaving techniques but also essential life support and CPR.

This is a great way of keeping fit and working muscles which will not be worked by going to a gym.
